Jacobs is seeking a Structural Engineering Professional Intermediate in the Northeast US to contribute to design and analysis for complex facilities. You will work closely with the lead engineers and designers, ensuring accurate structural decisions and adherence to code requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Structural Engineering
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certification
• At least 2 years of Structural Engineering experience
• Experience with US building codes, including IBC, ASCE 7, ACI and AISC
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Perform all conventional aspects of structural engineering analysis and design under supervision
• Develop engineering judgement and problem-solving skills and seek guidance when needed
• Communicate structural requirements clearly on paper and in models with design teams
