Job summary

United Grid Solutions in Colorado is seeking a Structural Engineer to assist in the design and construction of electrical substations, greenfield stations, battery storage, and transmission line projects. You will report to operational leadership and help maintain the national grid with compliant, high-quality designs.

You will perform structural analysis, prepare sketches and drawings, and collaborate with multiple disciplines, contractors, and clients to ensure timely, cost-effective

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in civil engineering with steel and concrete design coursework.
• 0–2 years of electrical utility design experience.
• Experience writing and supporting structural engineering calculations.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and prepare drawings for substation structures and foundations.
• Support structural efforts on engineering services and EPC projects.
• Deliver complete design packages (drawings, BOM, specs) on time and within budget.
• Collaborate with design disciplines, contractors, suppliers, and clients.
• Visit sites to provide engineering input during construction and for closeout.
