Job summary
GRIDWORKS is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to lead structural design for substations, high-voltage equipment supports, and transmission line projects across North America. You will serve as Engineer of Record, seal drawings, and provide technical oversight when external EOR is used, supporting a self-perform EPC approach from concept through commissioning.

Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from ABET-accredited program; PE licensure pursued.
Responsibilities
- Seal and stamp structural drawings and calculations as Engineer of Record for substations, switchyards, and transmission lines.
- Lead design of high-voltage equipment supports and foundations for breakers, transformers, and capacitor banks.
- Engineer steel structures: monopoles, lattice towers, H-frames, and direct-embed foundations; coordinate with E&C and procurement.
- Coordinate with geotechnical teams and review vendor calculations and external EOR submissions.
- Travel to project sites (15–25%) for site walks, inspections, and QA/QC; support design coordination meetings.
