Sargent & Lundy is seeking a CAD/3D designer to develop steel structure and concrete foundation models, producing high-quality 2D drawings. The role features a hybrid work setup with three days in the office and two remote days.

You will support senior designers, collaborate across disciplines to resolve clashes, and travel to client facilities as needed. The position emphasizes working with power, mining, oil & gas, and renewables projects including carbon capture initiatives.

Competenze

• Associate Degree in CAD Technology preferred.
• CAD certificate required if non-degreed.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in structural design.
• Previous relevant experience considered.

Mansioni

• Produce structural drawings that are on-time and within budget while meeting customer requirements.
• Collaborate with mechanical and electrical designers to resolve clashes in the 3D model and optimize the design; travel to client facilities may be required.
• Adapt to technologies in power generation, mining, oil & gas, renewables and carbon capture technologies.
