Job summary

Sargent & Lundy is seeking a CAD Designer to create structural drawings and 3D models for steel and concrete foundations. The role blends in-office collaboration with remote work two days a week in a hybrid setup, and may include relocation assistance depending on location.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of CAD design experience and proficiency in AutoCAD, MicroStation, Tekla, Revit or SmartPlant 3D, with knowledge of ACI, AISC, OSHA and related standards.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in CAD technology preferred; CAD certificate acceptable if no degree.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in CAD design for structures.
• Proficiency in major CAD software and knowledge of industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Independently produce structural drawings on time and within budget.
• Collaborate with mechanical and electrical designers to resolve clashes.
• Adapt to varied technologies across power, mining, oil & gas, and renewables.
