Job summary

Onyx Creative is seeking a Structural Drafter to develop structural drawings, models, and construction documents for commercial, industrial, and residential projects. Working with Structural Engineers and project leaders, you will draft, model, detail, and coordinate to support project delivery.

You will use Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM workflows to create coordinated construction documents, maintain QA/QC standards, and ensure accuracy and timely updates for ongoing projects in a collaborative,

Qualifications

Associate degree in Drafting and Design Technology or related field.
Minimum two years of experience preparing construction documents.
Proficient use of AutoCAD and Revit.
Knowledge of building construction practices and structural systems.
Experience with BIM workflows and coordinating interdisciplinary models.

Responsibilities

Review and evaluate drafting and modeling tasks from senior staff.
Develop and revise structural drawings, plans, sections, and details.
Create BIM models and coordinate with architecture, civil, MEPT disciplines.
Maintain drawing organization and QA/QC procedures.
Communicate progress and potential issues to project leads.
Collaborate to resolve drawing/model conflicts.
