Job summary

Onyx Creative seeks a Senior Structural Engineer to lead analysis, design, and evaluation of building structures for diverse projects. You will guide project execution, coordinate with stakeholders, and prepare engineering deliverables in line with codes and QA/QC procedures.

You will mentor engineers and co-ops, oversee scheduling and budgets, review shop drawings, and support business development by cultivating client relationships and pursuing future work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
• Fifteen or more years of professional experience.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.).
• Proficient use of software including RISA, Tekla TEDDS, RAM Elements, RAM Structural Systems; Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead project execution and provide design oversight under the Director of Structural Engineering.
• Mentor engineers, designers, and co-ops with technical guidance and QA/QC reviews.
• Represent the structural discipline at meetings with clients, architects, and contractors.
