Northrop Grumman is seeking a Structural Engineering Manager 2 to lead a team of about 12 structural analysts in the Mechanical Analysis Section of the Hardware Synergy department in Linthicum, MD. You will supervise technical work and ensure program cost and schedule targets are met for sensor systems across multiple environments.

The role blends people leadership with hands-on engineering, including reviews, analysis/test report approval, and trade studies. U.S.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in leadership roles.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S Government Secret Clearance.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Experience leading small teams in a technical or functional/people management capacity.
• Experience with structural analysis methods (static, fatigue, vibration).
• Experience with vibration testing.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead a Structural Analysts team of about 12 people.
• Oversee structural analysis activities for sensor systems in various environments (airborne, space, maritime, land).
• Attend internal and customer reviews and approve analysis/test reports.
• Conduct structural trade studies and ensure cost/schedule performance.
• Plan staffing, performance evaluations, and staff development.
• Drive process improvements and implement new tools.
