Job summary

Hemet Global Medical Center in Victor Valley, CA is seeking a Stroke Coordinator-Nursing Admin for a full-time, day shift role. The coordinator will oversee the stroke program, coordinating systems and services to maintain an organized, patient-centered Stroke Center in collaboration with the CNO.

Requirements include CA RN license with BLS; ACLS within 90 days; BSN preferred, and at least three years of acute care nursing experience with two years in critical care.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of nursing experience in an acute care setting.
• At least two years in a critical care setting.
• Experience with data collection, analysis and report writing.
• BSN preferred; prior stroke program experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate systems and services required for an organized, interdisciplinary, patient-centered Stroke Center.
• Collaborate with the CNO to initiate and manage operations for stroke program development.
• Lead ongoing performance improvement initiatives for the stroke program.
