Job summary

Hemet Global Medical Center in Victor Valley, CA is seeking a Stroke Coordinator-Nursing Admin for a full-time, day shift role. The coordinator will oversee the stroke program, coordinating systems and services to maintain an organized, patient-centered Stroke Center in collaboration with the CNO.

Requirements include CA RN license with BLS; ACLS within 90 days; BSN preferred, and at least three years of acute care nursing experience with two years in critical care.

POSITION SUMMARY

The stroke program coordinator is responsible for the coordination of systems and services required to maintain an organized, interdisciplinary, patient centered Stroke Center. The stroke program coordinator works in collaboration with the CNO to initiate and manage operations associated with program development and ongoing performance improvement for the stroke program.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. A minimum of at least three years of nursing experience in an acute care setting. A minimum of at least two years of experience in a critical care setting. Experience with computer software applications such as Microsoft Office. Experience with data collection, analysis and report writing. BSN preferred. Prior stroke program experience preferred.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Must possess a current California RN license and BLS. ACLS required within 90 days of hire or status change.
