Job summary

Huntington Beach Hospital, part of Prime Healthcare, seeks a Stroke Program Coordinator to lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of the Stroke Program across the continuum of care. The role requires a current California RN license and at least one year of multidisciplinary healthcare experience, with inpatient critical care or ED exposure preferred.

This is a full-time, day-shift position with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Current California state RN License required.
• One year’s clinical, service line and/or management experience in a multidisciplinary health care setting with inpatient experience preferred in critical care or emergency department.
• Knowledgeable on current State Laws and Regulations as applicable to facility and the Stroke program.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, implementation and evaluation of the Stroke Program across the continuum of care.
• Collaborate with Stroke Medical Director, ED and inpatient leadership to ensure program success.
• Plan, implement and evaluate clinical programs to improve patient outcomes in stroke care.
• Oversee quality assessment and inter/intra disciplinary communications for the stroke program.
