Job summary

Huntington Beach Hospital is seeking a Stroke Program Coordinator to lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of the Stroke Program across the continuum of care. You will collaborate with the Stroke Program Medical Director, Emergency Department, and nursing leadership to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

The role requires an active California RN license and at least one year of relevant clinical or management experience, including inpatient exposure in critical care or emergency

Qualifications

• Current California state RN License required.
• One year’s clinical, service line and/or management experience in a multidisciplinary health care setting which includes a minimum of 6 months of inpatient experience preferred in critical care or emergency department.
• Knowledgeable on current State Laws and Regulations as applicable to facility and the Stroke program.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and evaluate the Stroke Program from a multi-disciplinary perspective across the continuum of care.
• Provide leadership for organization of services and systems for stroke and neuro care.
• Assume day-to-day responsibilities of process and performance improvement activities for nursing and ancillary staff.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate clinical programs to achieve high quality, patient-focused outcomes in stroke care.
• Collaborate with all hospital personnel on shared system and performance improvement projects.
