Qualifikationen

• Current Maryland license in good standing as an RN.
• 2 years' experience as stroke coordinator.
• Basic knowledge and working experience with Medical Terminology.
• Lifting and/or carrying objects weighing 11 to 20 pounds.
• Ability to communicate verbally.
• Sitting for extended periods of time.
• BLS certification preferred.
• Master’s Degree preferred with 3 years’ stroke coordinator experience.

• Serves as clinical expert liaison between physicians, nursing, and other departments for acute stroke care.
• Participates in daily rounds and coordinates stroke patient care during and after hospitalization.
• Develops comprehensive care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Leads education initiatives and ensures best-practice stroke care processes.
• Maintains up-to-date clinical knowledge and participates in quality improvement activities.
• Facilitates accreditation and designation processes for Stroke Center.
