Job summary

Mission Hospital is seeking a Stroke Program Coordinator to lead quality of care across the stroke continuum. You will serve as a clinical expert and resource to patients, families, nursing staff and physicians, ensuring outcomes align with evidence-based practice and accrediting standards.

Qualifications

Required Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
Preferred Education: Master’s degree in Nursing or other related field
Required License: NC RN license
Preferred License: Certified Neuroscience RN or Stroke Certified RN
Required Experience: 3-5 years acute clinical experience
Preferred Experience: 1 year of clinical experience specific to stroke care, care management, utilization management or quality improvement experience. Computer skills including proficiency in data entry, Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain the quality of care for stroke patients across the continuum of care.
Collaborate with nursing, clinical and administrative staff to meet accreditation and regulatory requirements.
