Job summary

UF Health Central Florida is seeking a Stroke-Neurovascular Coordinator responsible for coordinating stroke activities to obtain and maintain program certification. The role involves facilitating clinical care, abstracting reporting data, and educating staff and the community on best practices.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree and a Florida RN license is preferred. Strong English communication skills are essential to collaborate with EMS and hospital leadership and to support research

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Florida Registered Nurse License (RN preferred).
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate UFHCF Stroke activities to obtain and maintain certification.
• Facilitate the clinical care of program-related patients to ensure timely treatment per guidelines.
• Abstract and maintain reporting requirements for the site program.
• Provide formal and information education to team members and the community; act as a resource for staff and EMS.
• Collaborate with nursing and medical staff leadership and the Education Department to support research and initiatives.
