Qualifications

• RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure or NLC/eNLC Multistate License upon hire.
• NIHSS certification upon hire.

Serves as the point of contact for stroke treatment throughout the hospital, and works collaboratively with the Stroke Committee and other key stakeholders on all stroke efforts. Functions as a clinician, an educator, a consultant and a researcher with the primary responsibility for promoting quality care for stroke patients. Coordinate care of stroke patients in order to meet multiple service needs, ensure continuity of care, and eliminate fragmentation of care and services in all settings across the continuum.

• CNRN - Certified Neuroscience Registered Nurse Preferred
