Capital Health seeks an RN Program Coordinator to lead stroke care program implementation, ensuring adherence to national guidelines and coordinating education for staff and patients. You will partner with nursing leadership to monitor outcomes and drive quality improvements.

The role requires advanced nursing credentials, SCRN/ASN-BC preferred, and certification in NIH Stroke Scale, ACLS/NRP/PALS as applicable, with emphasis on interdisciplinary collaboration.

Qualifications

• Master's in Nursing (MSN) or Bachelor's in Nursing (BSN) and MSN within 18 months of hire.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience on a Stroke Designated unit or with Stroke patients.
• RN, NJ license; SCRN/ASC-BC preferred; NIH Stroke Scale certification required.

Responsibilities

• Oversees implementation and integration of national standards and evidence-based guidelines for stroke care.
• Coordinates revisions and addition of care-related supplies and equipment.
• Monitors hospitalized patients and provides education to patients and families.
• Collaborates with leaders to mentor staff and ensure regulatory readiness.
