Job summary

Tire Rack is seeking a Strike Team Engineer II to join the IT Strike Team Network Engineering group in South Bend, IN. You will help design, implement, troubleshoot, and support our network and server infrastructure while contributing to time‑sensitive technology projects across the organization.

The ideal candidate is a hands‑on problem solver comfortable with both network and server environments and able to communicate effectively with project managers and business partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience administering Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Experience supporting network and server infrastructure.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, manage, and support information and network systems.
• Configure, maintain, and operate Linux and Windows servers.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and identify recurring problems.
• Support infrastructure projects with short timelines and changing priorities.
• Develop and maintain operational procedures and documentation.
• Provide knowledge sharing to IT team members and stakeholders.
