Job summary

Life Time Inc. in Minnesota Plymouth seeks a Personal Training-Hourly Stretch Specialist to support members with branded Assisted Stretch and Recovery sessions, building relationships to help members move better and live healthier.

You will educate, assist on the floor, and promote stretch programs while maintaining Life Time Brand integrity. You will lead stretch and recovery sessions, participate in required training, document client progress, and deliver exceptional customer service to

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Certified personal Trainer.
• CPR and AED certified.
• Knowledge of assisted stretching and recovery techniques.
• Ability to perform an aerobic activity for the duration of a class and lift up to 50 pounds.
• At least 1 year of personal training experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology, Sports Medicine or related field.
• Assisted Stretching Certification (AIS, FST, or similar).

Responsibilities

• Develop safe, professional client programs to drive goal achievement and retention.
• Lead clients through assisted stretch sessions using techniques like PNF and contract-relax.
• Lead recovery sessions with assisted stretching, Hypervolt percussion, and breathing drills.
• Read, watch, and engage in required training for the role.
• Conduct stretch demos for new clients with screening and goal setting.
• Provide fitness floor assistance for safety, education, and motivation.
• Promote and sell stretch session programs and other personal training services.
• Complete all administrative requirements for each client’s fitness plan.
• Remain current on certifications, trends, credentials, and continuing education.
• Ensure members feel competent, confident, and connected via superior service.
• Document all aspects of client programming.
