OpenAI for Government is seeking an experienced strategy and operations leader to help decide where to grow and how to build capabilities for serving government customers. You will shepherd ambiguous work from problem definition through execution, focusing on business strategy, workforce, and secure facilities initiatives.

You will partner with leadership to define priorities, manage budgets and vendors, and lead strategic advisory activities across multiple government domains.

Qualifications

• Experience in strategy consulting, business operations, a growing technology company, or similar analytical/execution roles.
• Ability to build financial models, size markets, and translate data into clear recommendations.
• Comfort interpreting government budgets and using market intel to inform investments.
• Ability to create concise executive presentations and memos linking numbers to actions.

Responsabilités

• Support growth and maturation of a business operations and revenue strategy function within OpenAI for Government.
• Develop annual business strategies for target customers, projects, and cross-functional partners.
• Maintain intelligence on territories, budgets, incumbents, and award drivers.
• Forecast secure-space needs and coordinate security requirements with the Industrial Security team.
• Design and run advisor meetings and quarterly strategy sessions, integrating insights into strategy.
• Own special projects by defining problems, building options, and leading early execution.
