Job summary

The Fountain Group is seeking a Strategy and Operations Contractor for a prominent client. This fully remote role starts with a 2‑month assignment through 12/31/2026 with potential extension through 12/31/2027, contingent on budget approval.

You will analyze customer behavior to identify opportunities to increase subscription adoption and retention, using SQL and AI tools to gather data, identify trends, and automate analysis.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in management consulting, strategy and operations, or a similar analytical role.
• Strong SQL querying and data analysis skills.
• Advanced Excel/Sheets skills, including financial modeling.
• Experience using AI tools for analysis, query development, and workflow automation.
• Experience with experimentation, A/B testing, hypothesis development, and business case creation.
• Ability to translate data into actionable recommendations and identify next steps.
• Experience with subscription-based technology companies or similar competitors is a plus.

Job Description:

• Pay: $48.28/hr (W2)
• Initial 2-month assignment through the end of 2026, expected to extend through 12/31/2027 pending budget approval
• You will analyze customer behavior to identify opportunities to increase subscription adoption and retention
• Use SQL queries and AI tools to gather data, identify trends, and automate analysis
• Build financial models in Excel or Sheets to evaluate opportunities and develop business cases
