Job summary

REI is seeking a Strategy Manager to shape the co‑op's future by creating long‑term vision, 3‑year plans, and economic models in partnership with FP&A. You will guide cross‑functional planning, translate strategy into actionable roadmaps, and support senior leadership with insights and communications.

You will engage across divisions to drive accountability for priorities, monitor industry trends, and deliver recommendations to Board audiences.

Qualifications

• BS or BA in a related field (business, economics, etc.), MBA preferred
• 7+ years of industry and competitive analysis, modeling, and financial analysis skills
• Strategic thinker and intellectually curious problem solver with clear POVs
• Strong analytical capabilities balancing analysis with judgment
• Ability to synthesize complex information into clear content for senior audiences
• Enterprise thinking and cross‑functional collaboration across teams
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines
• Excellent interpersonal skills and stakeholder management
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint

Responsibilities

• Support enterprise strategy development and planning for REI's long-term vision, 3-year plans and economic model (with FP&A).
• Conduct targeted analyses to support strategy development for divisions and initiatives.
• Assist executive leadership to define, progress, and bring strategic initiatives to life.
• Provide macro, consumer, and market insights to influence initiatives and positioning.
• Collaborate across divisions to align stakeholders and drive accountability.
• Develop strategic content for internal communications and Board materials.
