Syneos Health, Inc. is seeking a Dir/Sr Dir, Strategy & Delivery in Gen Med - Rare Disease for the US and/or Canada. You will drive study and customer engagement strategies, lead pre-award activities, and align cross-functional teams to deliver complex clinical solutions.

Ideal candidates have deep drug development knowledge, strong leadership, and excellent stakeholder management. This role offers significant impact across studies with global regulatory alignment and financial accountability.

Qualifications

• Requires a degree in the life sciences, nursing degree, or equivalent education or experience.
• Deep knowledge of global drug development and regulatory requirements.
• Strong understanding of therapeutic landscapes and industry trends.
• Proven leadership in complex, matrixed environments.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with senior stakeholders.
• Operational and financial acumen across multiple programs.
• Customer-focused with problem-solving skills in dynamic environments.
• High level of organizational discipline and attention to detail.
• Proficient in core business tools; fluent in English; travel ~25%.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute study and customer engagement strategies with BD and Medical Strategy.
• Lead pre-award activities including account planning, proposal strategy, and Bid Defense.
• Build cross-functional partnerships to develop competitive, customer-focused solutions.
• Lead proposal development, ensuring strategic alignment, feasibility, and financial accuracy.
• Lead Bid Defense Meetings and coach cross-functional teams for compelling presentations.
• Ensure seamless transition from pre-award through study execution.
• Lead and develop high-performing cross-functional teams.
• Develop trusted customer and internal stakeholder relationships; manage risks.
• Ensure delivery across studies meeting scope, timelines, quality, regulatory, and financial targets.
• Manage financial performance with forecasting, budgeting, and change control.
