Qualifications

• Eight+ years of experience in legal or professional services marketing, business development, or strategy.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Proven ability to plan and execute strategic initiatives for practice groups or industry teams.
• Strong business acumen and analytical skills; translate data into recommendations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; build relationships across teams.
• Strong organizational and project management skills to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience collaborating with senior stakeholders and mentoring colleagues.
• Proficiency with MS Office and marketing tech platforms (Salesforce, Foundation).
• Growth mindset, adaptability, and willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead annual marketing and business development plans for the Financial Services Sector, including budgets and growth objectives.
• Translate goals into actionable marketing initiatives with deliverables, timelines and KPIs.
• Provide strategic recommendations informed by market research, client feedback, and competitive intelligence.
• Advise lawyers on marketing opportunities, engagement strategies, and BD priorities.
• Monitor industry trends and identify opportunities to strengthen the firm's market position.
• Oversee sector-focused thought leadership, campaigns, and client-facing events.
• Support pursuit strategies including pitches, RFPs, and RFIs for FS clients.
