Job summary

CVS Health Corporation is seeking a Workforce Optimization Manager to lead end‑to‑end workforce initiatives. You will partner with leaders across Legal, Government Affairs, Talent Acquisition and HR to align plans with business objectives and ensure compliant governance.

The role requires 7+ years in HR, strong consulting and project management skills, and experience with employment law. A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is essential; hybrid or on‑site work may apply as per location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 7+ years of related HR experience, preferably as HR Business Partner or equivalent.
• Experience with workforce optimization activities including organizational restructuring and employment law.
• Familiarity with WARN, OWBPA, EEO Title VII, ERISA, and Section 409A of the Internal Revenue Code.

Responsibilities

• Drive end‑to‑end project management for high‑impact workforce optimization initiatives.
• Partner with Government Affairs, Legal, Talent Acquisition, Communications, and HR to scope work and manage timelines.
• Serve as an enterprise‑wide strategic advisor to leaders at all levels.
• Influence talent decisions by evaluating current capabilities against future needs.
• Leverage data to identify workforce activities and emerging risks.
• Lead strategic process improvements and system enhancements for severance administration technology.
• Ensure compliance with state/federal laws and company policies.
