Stony Brook University is seeking a Senior Workforce Strategy Partner to serve as a strategic advisor to leaders on workforce planning, organizational design, position management, and compensation-informed decisions. The role supports the Jobs-to-Compensation model and collaborates with HR, Talent Acquisition, and Finance to deliver integrated workforce solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
Three years of full-time professional experience in workforce planning, compensation, classification, HR consulting, or analytics.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel functions.

Responsibilities

Serve as a strategic advisor to academic, research, clinical, and administrative leaders on workforce planning, organizational design, position management, and compensation-informed workforce decisions.
Support Jobs-to-Compensation models by defining workforce needs before recruitment.
Lead workforce analysis, role design, organizational assessments, and position management to guide effective workforce solutions.
Conduct advanced classification and compensation analyses to support departmental operations.
Partner with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Finance and University leadership to provide integrated workforce solutions.
Present workforce findings and recommendations to leaders and stakeholders.
