Job summary

Exelon is seeking a seasoned Work Management professional to prioritize, schedule, and coordinate maintenance and testing activities across a large utility footprint. You will align work plans with business goals, manage resources, and ensure safe, reliable operations.

You will lead a team through complex outage coordination, compliance with external agencies, and continuous process improvements, while collaborating with Asset Management, Operations, Supply, and Project and Contract Management

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 2-4 years of relevant utility business experience (e.g., transmission, distribution, gas, or substation), or in lieu of bachelor's degree, a minimum of 6-9 years of relevant utility business experience.
• Working knowledge of PC and mainframe scheduling.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, achieve deadlines and handle multiple assignments.
• Excellent organizational, planning and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to execute independent judgment.
• Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work closely with all levels of management.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize, schedule, and coordinate corrective, preventative and predictive maintenance tasks, projects, switching evolutions and testing activities.
• Coordinate with project management on major construction jobs including outage synchronization and job bundling.
• Lead and support compliance commitments with external agencies.
• Execute and monitor Work Management policies, programs and processes; optimize resources to meet goals.
• Monitor performance measures and ensure consistent application of Work Management across Operations.
• Chair or co-chair the Work screening committee and interface with other departments.
