Job summary

Aqua Engineers is seeking an experienced leader to manage and direct the water and/or wastewater operations department, guiding strategic and operational objectives. The role includes directing staff, developing client contracts, and executing annual operation plans to ensure service quality and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include strategic planning participation, leadership of the operations team, and maintaining professional relationships with clients while overseeing maintenance

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Hawaii Grade IV WWTP Operator or Grade II WTP Operator license and Grade II DSO license.
• General leadership and management experience in water/wastewater operations.
• Strong understanding of scheduling, maintenance planning and client relations.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage the water/wastewater operations department.
• Contribute to development and implementation of the company’s strategic plan.
• Oversee the execution of the department's annual operations plan.
• Provide supervision to operations staff and maintain client relationships.
