Aqua, an Essential Utilities company, is seeking a skilled Construction Project Coordinator who will partner with Engineering and Operations to plan and monitor capital projects. The role involves budget development, multi-department coordination, and ensuring safety compliance across job sites.

The ideal candidate has a civil engineering or construction management background, with experience in procurement, permits, and project closeout.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred; ability to obtain within set time frame.
• Five years of construction experience including cost estimating, bidding, contracts, and closeout.
• License or ability to obtain PA DEP Class E Distribution License within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and monitor annual capital improvement plans and budgets.
• Oversee construction activities to meet budget and schedule.
• Coordinate projects with multiple departments, contractors and suppliers.
• Prepare permit applications at local/state/federal levels.
• Manage procurement and payments for construction projects.
