Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a General Manager II to oversee warehouse operations, drive strategic improvements, and lead a team of managers and staff. You will manage day-to-day activities, develop cost-saving processes, and ensure safety and compliance across facilities.

The role emphasizes P&L responsibility, customer relationship management, and delivering operational excellence within DHL’s global contract logistics network.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in managerial/supervisory roles.
• 2+ years in supply chain/warehousing.
• Experience with 3PL or contract logistics.
• Staff management experience.
• P&L management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• WMS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations including receiving, storing, and shipping.
• Develop strategies to optimize processes, reduce costs, and increase productivity.
• Lead and motivate a team of Operations Managers and staff; foster a strong team culture.
• Ensure safety regulations and policies are followed; maintain safe, clean operations.
• Utilize WMS and automation to track inventory and monitor performance metrics.
