Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a General Manager I - Distribution to lead the national warehouse operations. You will drive strategic processes, optimize warehouse workflows, and guide a team of Operations Managers and staff to ensure safety, efficiency, and exceptional customer service.

With responsibility for the site's P&L, you will monitor performance, manage vendor relationships, and present Monthly/Quarterly Business Reviews.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of managerial/supervisory experience in warehousing or distribution.
• 2+ years in supply chain, warehousing, or distribution operations.
• Experience with 3PL/contract logistics preferred.
• WMS experience preferred; P&L responsibility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations (receiving, storing, shipping).
• Develop strategies to optimize processes, reduce costs, and boost productivity.
• Lead and coach Operations Managers and staff; build a strong team culture.
• Ensure safety compliance and maintain a clean, efficient site.
• Leverage WMS and technology to track inventory and performance.
• Manage vendor relationships and cost-effective service delivery.
• Prepare reports on performance, inventory, and key metrics.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and drive satisfaction.
• Own the site's P&L and present regular business reviews.
