Job summary

Ultimus Fund Solutions seeks a VP, Retail Alternatives Fund Accounting to provide strategic oversight of the Fund Accounting Department for retail products such as interval funds, tender offer funds, and BDCs. The role drives launches, M&A activity, and changes while guiding training across the department.

The position requires strong leadership, planning, and regulatory knowledge to ensure accurate reporting, compliance, and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
• 8+ years in a related field.
• 3-5 years of management/leadership experience.
• Experience in retail alternative funds is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversees launches of new funds, mergers, conversions, and advisor/sub-advisor changes.
• Oversees accounting activities supporting retail alternatives fund accounting.
• Leads training and development for retail alternative fund concepts.
• Partners with executives to align department goals with strategic objectives.
• Ensures compliance and continuous improvement in reporting and controls.
