Kingfisher Recruiting seeks a strategic Vice President of Operations to lead a growing multi-site 3PL network across six states. You will own P&L, drive profitability, and oversee warehousing, distribution, and fulfillment with a hands-on but scalable leadership style.

This on-site role in Bowling Green, KY requires 10+ years in operations leadership, strong WMS/EDI experience, and a track record of developing senior teams while delivering continuous improvement and cost savings.

Competenze

• 10+ years of progressive operations leadership experience in 3PL, warehousing, distribution, or related industry.
• 5+ years overseeing multi-site operations through directors, regional managers, or senior leadership teams.
• Proven experience managing full P&L responsibilities across multiple facilities.
• Demonstrated success improving operational efficiency, profitability, safety, labor productivity, and customer satisfaction.
• Experience launching new facilities or managing operational growth.
• Strong understanding of WMS, labor management, KPIs, and CI methodologies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and strategic planning skills.
• Ability to lead geographically dispersed teams with on-site work in Bowling Green, KY.

• Manage and develop Directors of Operations, Operations Excellence, and Safety, ensuring accountability and consistent performance.
• Maintain full P&L responsibility, focusing on profitability, cost control, labor productivity, and operational efficiency.
• Establish standardized operating procedures, performance metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives across all locations.
• Drive improvements in safety, inventory accuracy, customer service, employee retention, and overall operational performance.
• Lead new facility startups, customer implementations, and operational expansions.
• Partner with Sales and executive leadership on business growth, customer relationships, pricing strategies, and operational planning.
• Utilize WMS, EDI, and reporting to improve visibility, forecasting, and decision-making.
• Implement labor management strategies and productivity standards.
• Build a strong leadership pipeline through coaching and development.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and customer requirements.
• Participate in executive planning, budgeting, and capital investments.
