Job summary

Potelco, Inc. in Sumner, WA is seeking a strategic VP of Finance to drive financial performance across two business lines. You will lead a high-performing financial team, partner with executives, and ensure accounting integrity and process excellence.

Reporting to the CFO, you will oversee project accounting, month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting while strengthening internal controls and compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Admin.
• 10+ years of progressive finance/accounting leadership.
• Active CPA license and strong GAAP knowledge.
• Experience in construction, utility, or infrastructure industries.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial leadership across two business lines.
• Build and mentor a high-performing finance team.
• Oversee month-end close, project accounting, and revenue recognition.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and accurate financial reporting.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
