Job summary

Potelco, Inc., a Quanta Services subsidiary, is seeking an IT Director at its Sumner, WA headquarters. You will lead and modernize the IT function and align technology with business goals, working with CFO and Quanta Corporate IT.

The role drives roadmap, governance, and operations for a cohesive IT organization. Requirements include 12+ years in tech leadership, a Bachelor's in a related field, strong communication, and experience with ERP and SOX controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in IS/engineering/construction or related field.
• Twelve+ years in technology leadership in complex, project-driven environments.
• Strong business acumen and ability to translate goals into technology roadmaps.
• Experience building and scaling IT organizations under resource constraints.
• Familiarity with data analytics and where data-driven decisions create value.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the IT organization with structured staffing and mentoring.
• Direct modernization of key business applications and technology platform.
• Unify IT strategy across infrastructure, application development, and operations.
• Partner with CFO and executives to translate goals into roadmaps and tradeoffs.
• Manage IT budgets and vendor relationships to optimize total cost of ownership.
