Job summary

Potelco, Inc. is seeking a VP of Finance to join our corporate team in Sumner, WA. You will provide strategic financial leadership, oversee two business lines, and partner with executives to drive performance and process excellence.

You will lead a finance team handling project accounting, month-end close, and reporting, ensuring GAAP compliance and strong internal controls. A CPA and 10+ years of leadership experience are preferred for this critical role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Adminstration or related field.
• Active CPA license and strong GAAP knowledge.
• 10+ years of progressive finance/accounting leadership experience.
• Experience in construction, utility, or infrastructure industries.
• Proficiency with month-end close and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial leadership and strategic guidance across two business lines.
• Build and lead a high-performing finance team.
• Partner with executive management to support operational and financial decision-making.
• Oversee month-end close, job costing, revenue recognition, and project financial performance.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and coordinate external audits.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis across the business lines.
