Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, planning or construction management preferred.
  • 15+ years in operations or business development for a professional services firm, preferably with construction management.
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, success oriented and organized.
  • Knowledge of the local market, clients and competitors.
  • Travel as needed/expected.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue opportunities consistent with Hill’s strategy; lead go/no-go discussions.
  • Establish positive client relationships; attend industry networking and meetings with decision makers.
  • Research competitors and inform win strategy.
  • Develop win strategies focused on client value.
  • Lead proposal and interview preparation with Operations and Proposals partners.
  • Identify strategic hires and coordinate with internal recruiters.
  • Maintain client relationships; act as client advocate after wins.
  • Review costs/contracts; support pricing and teaming agreements.
