Job summary

D&H Distributing, a 100+ year-old employee-owned technology distributor, seeks a Vendor Business Manager - Apple to lead category management, sourcing strategies, and vendor relationships in a hybrid role based in Harrisburg, PA or Clearwater, FL.

You will work with leadership to define priorities, negotiate with vendors, optimize product assortment and pricing, and drive revenue and profitability across IT categories. The role collaborates across marketing, sales, and purchasing teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in category management, insights and sales strategy.
• Strong background in procurement, marketing, or sales.
• Substantial purchasing experience at a senior and strategic level.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate category management, sourcing strategies, sales and marketing.
• Support negotiations with suppliers and manage ongoing vendor relationships.
• Coordinate with organizations to align procurement, sales and marketing strategies.
• Achieve quarterly profit and sales targets for assigned vendors.
• Develop plans to improve margin and meet quarterly targets.
• Maximize back-end rebate achievement and ROI with Sales.
• Develop executive relationships with assigned vendors and promote value proposition.
• Increase market share with assigned vendors across categories.
• Plan and execute category business plans to meet revenue goals.
• Define resources and execute KPI-based plans with cross-functional teams.
