We’re expanding across 50+ locations in the US and Canada, and we’re hiring a Vendor & Cash Application Specialist to join our Finance & Accounting team in Overland Park, KS.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in AR/AP/vendor management or related accounting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial records.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organization and time management; ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Respond to vendor inquiries professionally.
• Maintain accurate vendor records and documentation.
• Process vendor invoices and reconcile vendor statements.
• Research and resolve discrepancies with vendors and internal teams.
• Support vendor onboarding, account maintenance, and information updates.
• Identify opportunities to improve workflows, documentation, and vendor processes.
• Help maintain compliant vendor records and ensure turnaround times are met.
• Accurately apply customer payments to invoices and accounts.
• Reconcile payments from checks, ACH, credit cards, and other methods.
• Research and resolve unidentified and misapplied payments.
• Collaborate with internal teams and customers to resolve payment discrepancies.
• Maintain payment documentation and audit trails.
• Assist with month-end close and AR reporting.
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly payment application activities.
