Job summary

HDR, Inc. seeks a Program Manager to lead multidisciplinary infrastructure programs, advising clients on technical, regulatory, and financial aspects to ensure successful delivery.

The role requires coordinating HDR and subconsultant teams, managing risk, and driving program-wide governance and QA/QC. Ideal candidates will have strong leadership, advanced degrees, and relevant certifications, with the ability to travel as needed and contribute to HDR's employee-owned culture and growth strategy.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Sciences, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
• Professional Engineering License.
• PMI PMP certification.
• PMI PgMP certification.
• CMAA CCM Certification.
• AICP Certification.
• Experience on transportation/infrastructure programs with large capital values.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary infrastructure programs with high technical complexity.
• Advise clients on technical, regulatory, financial, and community aspects of programs and apply industry best practices.
• Plan, direct, and monitor all program execution across multiple disciplines.
• Identify risks and provide strategic solutions to keep projects on track.
• Develop and implement program management plans, startup plans, and work plans to drive efficiency and accountability.
• Direct HDR and subconsultant staff, ensure contract scope delivery, and maintain QA/QC standards.
• Monitor financial performance against metrics and guide profitability.
• Mentor staff and pursue opportunities to grow HDR's program management services.
