Job summary

1898 & Co. in California is seeking a Transmission Planning Project Manager to oversee all phases of transmission planning projects, from business development through execution. You will manage multidisciplinary teams, develop scope and fee structures, ensure quality deliverables, and maintain strong client relationships.

You’ll also mentor and grow talent within our team. Responsibilities include leading business development, project execution, risk assessment, and mentoring.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering, business, computer science or related field from an accredited program.
• 5 years of related professional experience.
• Knowledge in project management, techniques, and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills and strong organizational abilities.
• Experience leading technical consulting engagements in power systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of transmission planning projects from business development through execution.
• Manage multidisciplinary teams and client relationships.
• Lead proposal development, scoping, budgeting, and scheduling.
