Job summary

1898 & Co. is seeking a Transmission Planning Project Manager to oversee all phases of transmission planning projects, from business development through execution.

You will manage multidisciplinary teams, define scope and fees, ensure quality, and sustain strong client relationships. You will mentor junior staff, champion internal initiatives, and serve as a go-to technical expert in transmission system planning and evaluation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering and 5 years of related professional experience.
• Knowledge in project management, techniques, and procedures.
• Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong organizational skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
• Experience leading technical aspects of consulting engagements in regards to power systems.
• Experience on consulting projects, client operations, or executing program management within the critical infrastructure industry.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of transmission planning projects from business development through execution.
• Manage multidisciplinary teams, scope, fee structures, and schedules.
• Maintain strong client relationships and mentor growing talent.
• Lead risk assessment processes and coordinate engineers and analysts.
