Job summary

Gilbane Building Company is seeking a Sr. Transition Manager to lead the implementation and execution of transition activities on multiple projects. The role focuses on coordinating teams, managing scope, budgets and schedules, and contributing to TPM division strategy.

You will engage with clients, vendors and internal teams, while ensuring delivery on time and within budget. The position requires leadership, thoughtful planning and readiness to travel up to 60% with flexibility for evenings

Qualifications

• BS or MS in logistics or related field or equivalent
• 10-15 years of project management experience, incl. 3-5 years of consulting
• Proficient in MS Office Suite; scheduling software and construction tools preferred
• Strong communication and leadership capabilities

Responsibilities

• Engage with clients, vendors, consultants with clear communication
• Recruit, train and manage project staff and resources
• Delegate responsibilities and oversee multiple complex projects
• Develop and maintain master plans, reports, budgets and tools
• Identify risks and mitigate exposure
• Foster client and industry relationships
• Support business development and contract negotiations
