Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum of twelve years of related experience; consulting experience highly preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership in public sector, not-for-profit, or higher education.
• Experience managing senior-level client relationships across multiple stakeholders.
• Extensive finance and accounting expertise with a track record of optimizing finance organizations.
• Ability to travel and work outside core business hours.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team through strategy definition, future-state visioning, target operating model, and roadmap delivery of transformation projects.
• Utilize finance, accounting, industry, and operational knowledge to align operating models with strategic goals.
• Develop and standardize finance processes, manage contract financial compliance, and document policies.
• Define roles and responsibilities, establish governance structures, and ensure reporting.
• Lead transformative solution visioning, design the target operating model, and build organizational structures to support the client.
• Evaluate current state, identify gaps, and provide strategic recommendations to mature the operating model.
• Develop, manage, and measure project approaches aligned to implementation phases and roadmaps.
• Elicit and define requirements using interviews, workshops, and site visits.
• Ensure compliance with federal financial regulations and mitigate risks.
• Manage multiple projects with staffing, deadlines, and end-user expectations.
• Document projects with business cases, requirements and implementation plans.
• Manage third-party vendor relationships for development needs.
• Act as liaison among executives, stakeholders, and delivery teams.
• Support go-to-market and delivery methodology standards and team development.
• Invest in professional development and mentoring within the team.
• Foster client relationships and internal collaboration to deliver value.
