LHH Recruitment Solutions in Portland, OR is partnering with a growing organization to hire an experienced Training & Development Manager who will own the training roadmap and partner with HR and operations to align programs with business priorities.

You will design scalable content, manage the annual training calendar across sites, measure impact with metrics, and lead onboarding, leadership development, and engagement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, organizational development, or related field.
• 3+ years of professional training and development experience.
• Experience developing training content and learning programs.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives.
• Experience partnering with HR and operational leaders to identify development needs.
• Strong communication, facilitation, and influencing skills.
• Ability to use metrics to evaluate training effectiveness and improve programs.
• Experience supporting multi-site training is a plus.
• PHR/SHRM/APTD/CPTD certifications are a plus.
• Master’s degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a training and development strategy aligned with business priorities.
• Manage the annual training roadmap and coordinate learning initiatives across locations.
• Identify skill gaps and develop targeted programs to improve performance.
• Design, develop, and continuously improve training content, materials, and resources.
• Create scalable programs that can be implemented across sites.
• Partner with HR and leaders on onboarding, leadership training, engagement, and succession.
• Coordinate internal subject matter experts and facilitators involved in training delivery.
• Evaluate program effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and metrics.
• Support required and compliance-related training programs and completion tracking.
• Maintain training dashboards and reporting; coach facilitators for quality delivery.
• Identify opportunities to improve training processes and tools.
