Job summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions in Portland, OR is seeking an experienced Learning & Development professional who will build strategy, develop programs from scratch, and measure impact on the business. This is an onsite, multi-site role supporting distribution and manufacturing environments.

You’ll lead training programs, create scalable materials, partner with leaders and HR on onboarding and leadership development, and assess training effectiveness to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field is required.
• 3+ years of Training/Learning & Development experience.
• Experience building training programs, not just facilitating content.
• Strong needs assessment, instructional development, and project management skills.
• Experience using metrics to evaluate training effectiveness.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced distribution, warehouse, manufacturing, or operational environment.
• Multi-site training experience preferred.
• Sales training or leadership development experience preferred.
• PHR, SHRM, APTD, CPTD certification is a plus.

Location: Portland, OR | 100% Onsite, Monday–Friday

Salary: $85,000–$105,000 annually

Travel: Occasional travel to regional locations

This is an opportunity for an experienced L&D professional who wants to do more than facilitate existing training. You’ll have the opportunity to identify training gaps, build strategy, develop programs from the ground up, and measure their impact on the business.
