Job summary

ABB is seeking a Training & Capability Development Specialist for US EL SE Commercial Operations in California. You will design and execute a comprehensive learning strategy to transform processes, enable adoption, and develop the workforce.

Lead instructor-led, virtual, and self-paced programs and manage materials, SOPs, and onboarding. Collaborate with leaders and SMEs to translate requirements into effective learning experiences, and drive continuous improvement using LMS metrics and

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or related field.
5+ years of learning and development or instructional design experience.
Strong facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills.
Experience creating professional training materials and documentation.
Ability to translate complex processes into learning experiences.

Responsibilities

Lead development and execution of training and capability-building initiatives aligned with business transformation goals.
Design, develop, and deliver instructor-led, virtual, and self-paced learning programs.
Create training materials, job aids, assessments, and process documentation.
Partner with leaders and SMEs to translate processes into learning solutions.
Develop and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and supporting docs.
Establish onboarding, upskilling, and role-based development programs.
Coordinate training schedules and communications across the organization.
Maintain LMS content and resources.
Monitor training participation, compliance and effectiveness with metrics.
Foster a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing.
