Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a Traffic Control Manager to build and lead a team in a fast-paced environment. You will oversee the distribution of trucks, trailers, towing, and U-Box storage, coordinating reservations with customer demand and equipment productivity.

By analyzing data and collaborating with rate analysts, you will help balance inventory to maximize service to customers while driving gross revenue. You will mentor reservation team members and ensure superior customer service across

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Management and team-building experience (2 years minimum).
• Customer service-oriented with an analytical mind.
• Excellent communication, listener, interpersonal, leadership, coaching and conflict-resolution skills.
• Proficiency in office etiquette that supports and maintains regional Traffic Department standards.

Responsibilities

• Help provide certainty to customers, field team members and U-Haul dealerships through reservation management and the distribution of trucks, trailers, towing and U-Box portable storage.
• Coordinate the placement of reservations and equipment based on customer demand and equipment productivity.
• Analyze data and formulate strategies to balance equipment within the market.
• Collaborate with rate analysts and other traffic control managers to balance inventory and optimize revenue across customers.
• Hire, mentor and lead a team of reservation managers supporting distribution strategy and exceptional customer service.
