Job summary

AbbVie in Florham Park, NJ seeks a capable contract manager to serve as the primary interface between AbbVie, third party manufacturers and customers. You will manage communications, contracts, capacity planning and performance metrics across functions including legal, R&D and supply chain.

The role requires strong program management, negotiation and financial analysis skills, with experience coordinating multi-party contracts and ensuring timely delivery of materials.

Qualifications

• BS or BA in Science, Engineering, Operations, or Business.
• 5–8 years experience in manufacturing, program management, materials management, logistics, QA, marketing, business development or engineering.
• Excellent program management, presentation, oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact between AbbVie and Third Party Customer or Third Party Manufacturer. Travel to TPM/TPC sites to understand capabilities and needs.
• Interface with executive management at TPMs and for TPCs.
• Ensure contract commitments are fulfilled and resolve when not; involve appropriate AbbVie resources.
• Analyze TPM capacity versus forecasts and flag concerns to relevant teams.
• Identify opportunities to insource/outsource products to maximize value for AbbVie.
• Negotiate new contracts and extensions with third parties; establish performance metrics.
