Job summary

Bank of America is seeking a versatile professional for Global Payments Solutions’ Business Control and Governance team. The role focuses on third party governance, risk management and driving strategic projects that enhance the control environment.

You will collaborate with Sourcing, Vendor Management, GIS and Data teams to escalate GPS‑owned risks, prepare governance materials, and support audit and regulatory activities across a global footprint.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years in a business control function, third party management or data management.
• Experience planning and supporting large-scale projects.
• Strong project management, organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to drive projects to milestones and manage multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain third party procedures and playbooks.
• Partner with GPS senior leaders and cross-functional teams to understand and escalate GPS third party risks and issues.
• Lead governance routines and coordinate escalations to enterprise third party risk programs.
• Provide subject matter expertise on third party risk and governance to GPS partners.
• Support required third party routines, cyber security escalations, and vendor risk assessments (VLRA).
• Assist in designing and maintaining risk controls and ensure adherence to standards.
• Perform root cause analyses on non-performing third party metrics and manage Go to Green plans.
• Review data transmission registrations and third party risk assessments for documentation quality.
• Support audits, regulatory engagements and outsourcing materiality assessments.
